If you're looking to launch a career in digital arts & design, video games, graphic design, animation, or entertainment business, you've come to the right place.

As interactive media and gaming continue to gain new markets, careers in Digital Design and Animation are expanding, which induces Colleges for Digital Arts and Digital Design and Animation Schools to offer various creative arts courses.

Students who want to pursue careers in digital design and digital arts now have more opportunities to formally train and graduate with actual degrees, thanks to the emergence of digital art schools.

The curriculum begins with the basic fundamentals of art and artistic design, and provides courses in areas of drawing, color, computer applications, graphic design, architectural design, web design, video and digital production, sound editing, 3D model development, cartooning, story development, special effects, game art and design, game production, and character design, and more.

Students can also take courses in project management and portfolio development.

Digital Design and Animation Schools are plentiful. Digital Design and Animation classes and programs are offered in vocational, technical, and trade schools, community colleges, four-year colleges, and in full-fledged universities.

Students can choose levels of study for diplomas, certificates, Associate of Arts (AA), Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS), and Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) degrees in Digital Design and Animation fields. Bachelor and master degree programs offer more latitude and depth of study for specializations in media design and production.

Diplomas, certificates, and associate degrees in Digital Design and Animation have graduates prepared for entry-level positions in various areas of design and animation fields.

In both the Bachelor of Science in Media Arts & Animation and Bachelor of Science in Game Art & Design programs you will learn the skills necessary to build the digital world you envision.

Media Arts graduates work on the special effects, editing, and video production of the favorite movies, music videos and web sites.

Game Art & Design graduates work as game-play testers, 2D and 3D artists, 3D object modelers, and background artists for computer games.

Students may focus on web design and multimedia courses to develop skills for positions as web designers, information designers, and web animation production.

Others may choose to focus on computer animation for positions in game and interactive video production. Still other students may focus on communication and lettering design for computer arts, movie, television, and advertisement production.

Digital Design and Animation technicians will also find employment in fields of science, architecture, and medicine, where design and technology are gaining significance.
